Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Lead and manage all requirements for a number of manufacturing projects and sites.
  • Coordinate company projects ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Create and maintain technical and project documents.
  • Brief any engineers or operatives on scope of work.
  • Hit deadlines to maintain project milestone requirement and investigate compliance requirements.
  • Map requirements and functionality to business goals, align priorities and manage stakeholders, resources and dependences.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure all aspects of manufacturing projects are on track.
  • Build and lead effective working relationships in order to collaborate problem solving and project delivery.
  • Liaise with other management and ensure effective use of resources across the programme in delivering project quality.
  • Understand the project, its customers, stakeholders, interactions etc.

Experience and Skills for the Role:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager.
  • Knowledge and experience within either the construction or the manufacturing industry.
  • Degree level educated in a relevant subject to the role.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to lead and manage employees.
  • Strong ability to engage, persuade and influence others.
  • Ability to effect change and see through to completion.
  • Customer focussed and commercially aware.
  • Good problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
