Manufacturing Supervisor                 Lisburn              £35-40K

A leading Manufacturing company based in Lisburn, easily commutable from Belfast, Banbridge and Craigavon are currently on the lookout for Manufacturing Supervisor required for a growing manufacturing business.

You will be working with a successful manufacturing business who pride themselves on providing a high-quality service to customers and staff where you will be responsible for managing a large team to meet the requirements of production plan and overseeing any issues.

Duties Include:

• Supervisor for planning and overseeing effective execution of all Production operations on shift.
• Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demand.
• Assessing project and resource requirements.
• Ensure there is a comprehensive program of continuous improvement in place to improve quality, performance, efficiency and reduce costs through structured problem- solving activities in line with the companies Quality Policies and systems.
• Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met and followed at all times.
• Overseeing production processes.
• Ensure all equipment is working to standard and that any issues are reported to Maintenance or Engineering as appropriate using the appropriate paperwork and through the correct channel
• Monitor KPIs, health and safety regulations, team budgets and more
• Working with the general manager, transport manager and purchasing manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.
• Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level at all times.
• Managing process and material flows.

Experience Required:

• 3-4 years’ experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Managerial/supervisory /team leader experience.
• Budget Management and Financial Planning experience.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in line with company requirements.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
• Working knowledge of production planning in a fast-paced environment.
• “Can-do attitude”.
