Mechanic - Tyrone

Manufacturing Mechanic             Omagh Co. Tyrone                 £25-40K

A client company based in Omagh are currently seeking a mechanic who is interested in working both independently and as part of a team in maintaining and operating with plant and machinery equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical repair and maintenance with a good understanding of replacing gearboxes, pumps and motors.

A van will be provided within this role as well as the necessary training that is required along with company tools.

Duties Include:

• Carry out repairs on gearboxes, pumps and motors and remove all faulty equipment.
• Diagnose all mechanical problems with plant and machinery and respond in a timely manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and carry out preventative maintenance checks to ensure that ensure that all installations and repairs are done correctly.
• Keeping the workshop and service areas clean and tidy when performing work.
• Removing and rebuilding engines when required.
• Carry out any required admin tasks and service records and document them correctly and keeping them up to date.

Requirements:

• Qualified Mechanic with 3+ years’ experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of engines, pumps and equipment
• Knowledge and understanding of IT and MS Office.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
