A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of mechanical projects across Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and delivery of mechanical contracts.
  • Coordinate and manage mechanical operatives to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently across various sectors.
  • Work closely with project managers and operational teams to maintain exceptional service delivery.
  • Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements for mechanical works.
  • Attend client, design, and site meetings to monitor project progress and resolve issues effectively.
  • Manage project schedules, labour allocation, and budgets.
  • Ensure all health & safety and statutory compliance requirements are fully adhered to.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure profitability and successful project outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Mechanical Contracts Manager role.
  • Strong mechanical background within the construction industry with a solid understanding of mechanical building services.
  • Proven experience in financial and cost management.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining operational systems and service standards.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
