Mechanical Design Consultant
Due to Company expansion, Rightpath are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Consultant.
You will be joining a fantastic company with state-of-the-art facilities and incredible plans for the future. The successful candidate must be someone who will invest in the team, will be passionate about their job and wants to be part of the company's journey.
Duties:
- Utilise technical knowledge to liaise closely with customers, manufacture, sales, accounts and purchasing.
- Producing bills of materials and quantities for projects.
- Working to tight deadlines, customer specifications and quality standards.
- Ability to produced detailed 2D drawings.
- Develop and advance existing designs for continuous improvement.
- Working to tight deadlines, customer specifications and quality standards.
- Compiling job files containing required drawings and documentation.
Qualifications:
- An engineering qualification - (Degree, HND, HNC) or relevant experience.
Key Skills:
- AutoCAD/SolidWorks experience
- Designing with minimum wastage and lean principles in mind
- You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Mechanical Design Engineering position.
- Keen interest in mechanical design.
