Mechanical Design Engineer Limerick €50-75K
INFORM3 are recruiting for a company based in Limerick who are looking for a Building Service Engineer with a Mechanical focus. As a building service design engineer, you will be helping to provide cost effective and sustainable solutions to ensure buildings perform in an efficient and effective manner.
They are looking for a flexible and motivated individual with a genuine passion for Mechanical engineering and a focus towards the design aspect. The successful candidate should have 5 plus years in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop the overall design and delivery of Mechanical Building systems
- Identify opportunities for digital automation and optimisation of building systems, interfaces and their component parts.
- Develop digital tools and approaches to leverage these opportunities.
- Assist with clients’ requests and requirements.
- Monitor the implementation of design through out the entire project lifecycle.
- Prepare risk assessments for projects.
- Produce detailed documentations that outline the time scales and plans for the projects.
- Work with colleagues of various disciplines to prepare detailed engineering designs for Mechanical systems in line with the client’s requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Building services or relevant other.
- 5 years plus of experience in a similar role.
- Competent in the design and specification of Mechanical building services in a variety of industry and project types.
- Ability to summarise and present complex engineering concepts via different methods.
- Methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to use own initiative and undertake tasks effectively and to a high standard.
- Strong communicator, showing the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to demonstrate accurate technical drawings for projects.
- Ability to work through technical challenges through using excellent problem-solving skills.
