Mechanical Design Engineer                   Co. Tyrone             £25-35K

Are you an experienced Design Engineer within the Manufacturing Industry?

Inform3 are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer with at least 3+ years’ experience in Design Engineering that has an excellent knowledge and understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems.

This is a great opportunity to join a global company who are widely recognised for specialising in recycling products within the Manufacturing Environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Involved in all aspects within the product development.
• To help provide engineering solutions for the design, development and improvement for new and existing products.
• Create, amend and control new and existing design documentation, Engineering Drawings, Specifications, across the product range.
• Ensure that the creation of all the design and build documentation is done so in a timely manner and in accordance with the requirements of the project plan.
• Work with other departments and suppliers as required, to ensure a smooth transition through the manufacturing of product changes/solutions into production.
• To produce engineering BOMs for the production and manufacture of the machines.
• To deal with and investigate with customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Help reduce the costs through the improved design and consultation with other departments.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years’ experience or Degree Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• A good understanding of core concepts from, hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Understanding and knowledge of 3D CAD and Solidworks.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a will to learn and improve.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
