Mechanical Design Engineer - Tyrone

Mechanical Design Engineer       Dungannon        £25-35k

We are currently on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an expanding Engineering firm based close to Dungannon.

This role would see you assist in the continual development of their existing range of products, producing detailed drafts and ensure that assigned projects are delivered to time, quality and cost specifications.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design and develop innovative systems and components for various projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications are met
• Revise and update existing specifications and drawings to incorporate requested design changes from engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance and reliability.
• To liaise with the end customer to ensure that specifications are met.

Criteria:

• Proven experience in product design and mechanical engineering
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in 3D design software
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices
• Knowledge of system design concepts and methodologies
• Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as a team.
