Mechanical Engineer - Clare

Mechanical Engineer                 Co. Clare               €30-40K

A leading Manufacturing company located in County Clare is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team. The successful candidates will play a key role in the design and development of company projects.

You will be tasked with providing effective and innovative Mechanical design solutions to ensure the company remain a market leader within the industries they work in.

Duties Include:

• To work with and report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Design team on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the relevant work is to the company requirements.
• Provide engineering supervision of operational decommissioning activities, ensuring compliance with design intent.
• Design and prototyping of mechanical elements of material handling systems.
• Continuously enhance, refine and develop mechanical design templates, reports, tools and methodologies.
• Maintain a database of all the designs, references and related sourced materials ensuring that all the drawings are completed and documented accurately and are controlled and stored in a safe environment.
• Produce accurate BOM’s, layout drawings and ability to meet those deadlines.
• Working with the Engineering Team.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Engineering.
• 1+ years industry experience in a Graduate / Student Engineer in an ISO regulated industry (preferable manufacturing or a similar regulated industry).
• Understanding of SolidWorks/CAD.
• Experience using ERP Software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on your own and within a team environment.

There will be full training provided for SolidWorks and ERP Software.
