Mechanical Estimator Antrim £40-50K
INFORM Recruitment are recruiting a Mechanical Estimator for a fast-growing contractor based in Antrim. They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join their team in delivering accurate and detailed mechanical quotations and achieving deadlines.
The successful individual will join a hardworking and ambitious team, and should have 4 plus years’ experience within a similar role and a wide range of knowledge and understanding of associated mechanical services.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, correct, competitive and profitable estimates from enquires stage to bid submissions.
- To be involved with the complete cycle of the tender process.
- To follow up on submitted tenders.
- To analyse sub-contractor/vendor quotations.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Provide support and assistance to the estimating team.
- Liaise with current and new clients.
- Analyse specifications and drawings for current projects.
- Send and receive quotation requests and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure tender proposals are in line with the requirements provided.
Requirements:
- Have 4 plus years’ experience in a relevant role.
- High standard of qualification which is relevant to the role.
- Good industry sector knowledge.
- Hardworking and holds a keen ability to learn and progress their career.
- Independent and ability to use own initiative.
- Good communication, coordination and presentation.
- Ability to work well as a team.
- Have a good understanding and knowledge working with Microsoft Office packages.
