Mechanical Estimator London £40-45K
INFORM3 Recruitment are recruiting for a large M&E Contractor working in the Greater London area. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator for their commercial sector, to help undertake large scale M&E Projects.
The Ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience, come from a mechanical background and be able to undertake direction and work well in a team.

Main Responsibilities
- Review plans, specification and other relevant documents to provide solutions which will increase profitability and prepare a clean concise bid proposal.
- Develop standard mechanical cost baseline norms for the use of operational assets and resources.
- Produce estimates and pricing based on drawings and specified commercial projects
- Liaison with Accounts and Commercial teams to set up and ensure satisfactory credit for debtors
- During handover detail any possible opportunities for contract variations or specific contract risk items are identified to the Project Management.
- Ability to tender multiple projects at any one time.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Technically Mechanical biased knowledge.
- Ideally 3 years + Experience estimating for Mechanical Building Services installations
- Generally, experienced with IT usage inclusive of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, MS project and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Trimble (ideally)
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced organisational and time management skills.
