Senior Mechanical Estimator Waterford
INFORM3 Recruitment is working with an expanding construction company based in Waterford who are looking to expand their commercial division and a position has become available for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their team.
On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include drawing up quotes for customers, providing estimates for engineers, pricing, checking technical details and working closely with the management and engineering team.
You will need a minimum of 8 years of estimating experience working within the construction Sector with a background in M&E.
Responsibilities
- To provide estimating expertise to compile compliant tender bids
- Understand and scrutinise the project specifications and design drawings
- To evaluate tenders by reviewing and completing the tender forms and ensure they are within the given specifications
- Checking technical details and creating reports
- Liaising with management and engineering team
Requirements
- 8 Years Estimating experience
- Degree educated in a relevant field
- Extensive experience in the M&E Sector
- Ability to comprehend specifications and schematics/ drawings
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Communication and team working skills
