INFORM are recruiting for Mechanical Fitters for our client based in Limerick. In this hands-on role you will working within a team carrying out all planned and unplanned mechanical activities relating to the running of the sites.

Our client is looking for experienced mechanical fitters who well-versed in understanding mechanical assembly, technical details and schematic drawings.

This role will be based out of Limerick with some travel to sites in the wider Munster area.

Responsibilities Include:

• Install and overhaul mechanical systems, switchgear, motors and generators
• Provide preventative maintenance support.
• Repair and servicing of equipment
• Ensure completion of company documentation relating to servicing and repairs
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the team and promptly report any accidents or incidents

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in mechanical fitting, having served an apprenticeship or trained under a recognised scheme in a related trade
• Proficient in reading and working to mechanical drawings and technical documentation
• A good working knowledge of LV/HV systems, switchgear, motors and generators
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Full driving license
