Mechanical Maintenance Engineer              Co. Tyrone          £40-50K

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our reputable client company that is based in County Tyrone that are rapidly expanding at the moment.

You will be responsible for preforming planned maintenance, routines and reactive repairs on a range of Mechanical installations and manufacturing equipment. If you feel this role is suited to you, then don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Duties Include:

  • Carry out routine Preventative, planned and reactive works.
  • Respond to any breakdowns and ensure that maintenance and corrective works are completed safely and in a timely manner.
  • Be proactive in reporting faults following PPM.
  • To undertake mechanical installations, work in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are met and are within a safe working environment and are followed at all times.
  • Appropriately use hand tools, equipment and machinery for any repairs or minor details for improvement.
  • To work closely with all staff to ensure everything runs effectively of the machinery and equipment to ensure there is improvements all over.
  • Ensure all documentation is filled out in real time and accurately.

This role will involve continental shift patterns where you will be required to working different patterns every week for 4 weeks and will involve weekend work also.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience within the Manufacturing Industry maintaining mechanical equipment and machines.
  • Understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance systems.
  • Experience of PLC controlled machinery is desirable.
  • Experience of High Voltage Distribution System is desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical drawings.
  • Have proven ability to work within a team environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
