Mechanical Project Engineer Belfast £30-35k
We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a growing company to deliver projects across a number of sectors.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role will be accountable for the delivery of the Mechanical elements across relevant aspects of assigned projects from planning, and scheduling through to execution.
Our client is looking for someone who is ambitious and able to work under their own initiative with the ability to engage at all levels.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget to agreed standards
- Identify risks and ensure mitigation measures are put in place.
- Effectively manage sub-contractors as well as team performance on the project
- Support the project manager to ensure the project budget and costs are managed effectively for all services
- Commissioning and final handover, taking responsibility to ensure projects are delivered effectively
Requirements
- 3+ Years experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer
- Degree/HNC/HND or other accredited qualification is desirable, however not essential depending on experience
- Experience with the full Mechanical Design Process
- Experience in managing installation and construction activities
- Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for success in this role
- A team player who can demonstrate initiative and the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
