Mechanical Project Manager Limerick €70-80k
INFORM3 is recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager for an M&E Contractor to work on-site in the Limerick area.
The successful applicant will be managing and delivering a large and complex project on behalf of a high-profile client on a day-to-day basis managing a range of building service projects ensuring a focussed approach is adopted to establish excellence in quality and internal and external customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage site staff and subcontractors
- Liaising with clients and contractors regards to programs and timescales for projects and elements of work.
- Lead the project team with the timely production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements and H&S Site Management
- Support the engineers with information for construction phase plans.
- Take ownership and responsibility for projects and the teams working on them
- Review the project scope and be actively involved in the production of presentation documents where required
- Contribute to project finance reports, costs and claims
- Cultivate and maintain safe working practices on site
Technical Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Project Management with an excellent track record of successfully delivered projects
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (equivalent Engineering qualifications may be considered)
- Have an understanding or be able to offer some element of design knowledge.
- Strong Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read, understand and create contractual requirements, scope objectives and financial reports.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- To be self-motivated and to be able to motivate others, to be reliable and to be able to act with responsibility
- IT skills required with specific reference to the Microsoft suite of packages
