Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Northern Ireland (UK Travel)
Our client is a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contractor based in North Ireland. With over 50 years of experience, Our Client has built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead mechanical projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that all project requirements are met.
- Develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring that they are adhered to throughout the project.
- Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the relevant health and safety regulations and Our Client's policies and procedures.
- Manage project resources, including staff, equipment, and materials, to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that all project documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor project progress, identify and manage risks, and take corrective action where necessary.
- Provide regular progress updates to the senior management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in mechanical project management.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Full driving license.
