Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Mayo
Salary: €75,000 - €85,000 DOE
Our client, a leading specialist mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team in Mayo. Working across a diverse range of commercial, industrial and healthcare projects throughout Connaught, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from initial planning through to completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious project manager with a strong mechanical background who is looking to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop, implement and monitor project programmes, budgets and quality standards.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, quantity surveyors, site managers, subcontractors and support staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project finances, commercial performance and contractual obligations.
- Ensure all health and safety standards and company procedures are maintained across projects.
- Produce and maintain accurate project documentation, reports and records.
- Carry out regular site audits and monitor project progress to ensure quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
- Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Plumbing background with proven progression into project management.
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering and/or Project Management qualification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of technical, commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
- Excellent financial management, planning and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and leadership abilities.
- Ability to interpret contractual documentation, project scopes and financial reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
