INFORM3 are recruiting for a Mechanical Site Engineer to can ensure compliance of all our client’s projects delivered based in Co. Kildare, easily commutable from Blanchardstown and Lucan.

 

As a Mechanical Site Engineer, you’ll be liaising with the Construction team to ensure the effective completion of work that is in accordance with the project specifications.

 

The ideal candidate will come from a hands-on background within the Mechanical sector, certified in a mechanical discipline proven experience ensuring successful project deliveries. This will be mostly

 

Duties Include:

  • Resolve all enquiries and any clarifications that need sorted within a timely and accurate manner.
  • Planning and co-ordination of the works so that they can be delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all work carried out is within Health & Safety Regulations and that you are liaising with the client representatives.
  • Writing mechanical specifications and mechanical data sheets
  • Writing technical content documents to support Enquiry Requisitions and reviewing supplier bid documents.
  • Compiling Technical Bid Evaluations to capture technical bid clarification responses.
  • Review all designs and ensure that there are no constructability issues, raise requests for information.
  • Able to think creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems.
  • Work closely with QS in regards to cost management including prices of variations , progress reports and negotiations with clients and sub-contractors. 
  • Identification of risks in the workplace, on site and in the project work undertaken.
  • To liaise with the internal and external QA & QC resources to ensure the compliance of all work to make sure they are within company requirements and regulations.
  • Carrying out and reporting monthly EHS issues.

 

Experience Required:

  • Degree or Equivalent within Mechanical Engineer.
  • 5+ years’ experienced working within a Mechanical Engineer environment.
  • Efficient in the use of AutoCAD & AutoDesk.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications. 
  • Experience within piping fabrication and installation.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Highly organised and accountable with taking on responsibility from beginning to end.
