Mechanical Site/Contracts Manager                       Dublin                  €60-65k

An exciting position has become available for a Contracts Manager to join a market leading company working on some of the most prestigious projects in the Dublin area.

To meet the requirements for this position you will have one years experience in contracts/site management within the mechanical sector or be a project engineer looking to make the next step in your career.

Our client is looking for a reliable individual with excellent attention to detail, positive attitude, and a commitment to completing all their work to the highest possible standard. The ideal candidate needs to be friendly, hardworking and have a can-do approach.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities of mechanical operatives to ensure they are successful timely and cost effective.
  • Work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure service delivery remains exemplary.
  • Manage client's expectations, pro-actively engaging with them as their 'go-to' person, updating them on the status and when works will be undertaken.
  • Proactively coordinate labour resources needed to complete projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion to the customer’s expectations
  • Coordination and completion of all necessary H&S documentation related to the works including risk assessments and method statements based on site-specific requirements.
  • Willingness to support in other activities and projects the business works on internally as a progressive organisation.

Role Requirements

  • Degree level education in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
  • Mechanical background working within the construction/building services industry.
  • Ability to interface with clients with good stakeholder management and experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Driven mentality and hard working.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Good leadership skills.
