MEP Lead (Leinster) - Dublin

Lead BIM Coordinator (M&E)                     Dublin  €80-90k

Our client is an M&E contractor who are undergoing continuing growth as they continue to win major work and as a result, are recruiting for a BIM Coordinator able to implement their integrated building information modelling services and drive improvements in the design quality.

Using your excellent technical and team leadership skills, you will be leading a team producing designs and associated deliverables, overseeing projects from inception to hand over.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in the design and documentation
• Monitor the agreed workflows and modelling techniques that are used in projects
• Develop concept design and revise existing engineering drawings from specific sketches or layouts
• Adhere to company and client drafting standards and procedures, and development of those standards when required
• Research solutions to project concerns and present solutions to design problems

Requirements

• Degree in a related subject
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Lead role within an M&E Design Team
• Knowledgeable in current building regulations and H&S legislation
• A passion for design, a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement on both a personal and divisional level
• A high level of attention to detail and the ability to stay focused
• Excellent organisational skills able to prioritise your own work, deliver on time and delegate effectively
