About the Company:

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer? Then this is the role for you! Our well-established Manufacturing client based in Co, Tyrone are recruiting Manufacturing Engineer to join their expanding team.

The role of the Manufacturing Engineer is to support the planning, organisation and direction of projects from concept through to design, prototype, manufacturing, and commissioning. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that work meets established internal quality standards, as well as customer specifications.  Please be advised job description is non exhaustive and employees may be transferred to other area of the business when necessary.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • New product introduction, design for manufacture reviews, establishing processes, production launch.
  • Manage data creation including MBOMS, drawing packages Snag lists & SOPs.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required to manufacture major sub-components and final assembly of machines.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering and quality assurance departments to establish / implement containment and route cause fixes to manufacturing issues.
  • Provide support to the Design team and supplier network
  • Implement ECOs for and manage snag lists.
  • Analyse issues that arise from within Operations and propose improvements where required and submit ECR’s
  • Works in compliance with all Administrative, Health & Safety policies and procedures as per legislative requirements and as outlined in Company policies.
  • Provide monthly reports for the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

 

Experience Required:

  • 4 years’ experience in the recycling and material handling industry.
  • Previous 3D CAD experience essential, preferably using Pro-Engineer or Creo.
  • Good working knowledge of desk top publishing.
  • Experience creating and maintaining BOMS.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven attention to detail and a strong team player with proven experience of working collaboratively with a range of departments.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
