Inform3 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team. They are a leader in the food manufacturing industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products.

As their business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced individual that will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our factory and associated facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the factory and associated facilities.
• Ensure all equipment is in optimal working order and promptly address any issues.
• Develop and implement procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Focus on inventory management, waste reduction, and workflow optimization.
• Collaborate closely with the management team to understand operational needs and provide necessary support.
• Monitor and manage the facilities and operations budget.
• Ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of all staff.
• Provide day-to-day engineering services in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Maintain and repair packaging and manufacturing equipment to support operational goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
• Deliver high-quality maintenance services aligned with the maintenance strategy.
• Plan and execute activities to improve line and work zone performance.
• Use PLC for fault-finding and provide engineering improvements to enhance productivity.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a high-volume, regulated food production or related industry.
• National Craft Senior Trades Electrician or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma environments is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and deliver cost-effective design solutions
• Ability to work in a team environment.
