Multi-Skilled Engineer                     Derry/Londonderry                 £35-45K

Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer? A successful manufacturing company based in Derry/Londonderry are currently looking for a strong individual who will play a pivotal role in keeping the operation running, through working on pre-planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the business.

You will be reporting to the Engineering Managers and you will be responsible for the maintaining of equipment and ensuring that the performance meets targets and KPI’s.

This role will involve shift patterns where you will be required to working weekends and nights.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment.
• Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Undertake basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs of all faulty production’s equipment.
• Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
• Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
• Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
• Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years’ experience working within an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Environment.
• Knowledge and understanding working within a production industry.
• Experience within Electrical fault finding.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Flexible to working certain shift patterns and overtime when required.
