Salary – £40K - £45K Based on Experience

 

About the Company:

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer? You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all elements and process areas of the engineering department and site services are run as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

The role will suit someone with a sound technical knowledge & experience who will thrive on the varied nature of the maintenance requirements, able to ensure the efficient & smooth running of the manufacturing processes.

 

The individual will have the ability to perform both Mechanical and Electrical duties in regards to reactive and preventative maintenance and carry out shift work when required.

Duties Include:

  • Responsible for preforming maintenance and repairs on company equipment and compliance to SOPs and Safe Working Practices.
  • Resolving any issues and reporting any defects or concerns which could potentially cause future problems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
  • Undertake basic Mechanical, Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs of all faulty production’s equipment.
  • Respond to and carry out reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient and effective manner, minimising the disruption to the business.
  • Ensure any defects or issues are logged.
  • Ensure you maintain a clean and safe environment which is compliant with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures.
  • Carry out any other Maintenance duties that is required and confirmed with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent within Engineering Environment.
  • 3+ years’ experience working within a Production/Manufacturing environment.
  • Significant, relevant experience within a Food Manufacturing Company.
  • Experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Flexible to working certain shift patterns and overtime when required.
