Inform3 are currently recruiting for an Operations/Senior Manager for a busy civils contractor to work and manage civils projects across Dublin/Europe. This is a great opportunity for senior manager to progress in their role and company.

Operations/Senior Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and optimize all construction operations to ensure safe, timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project delivery.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee construction activities across multiple regions, ensuring effective planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Drive adoption of modern construction methodologies and technologies.
• Manage project scheduling, budgeting, execution, and delivery while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Review and approve project plans, procurement schedules, and progress reports.
• Monitor KPIs (cost, time, quality, HSE) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies across all projects.
• Develop and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance to Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and department leads.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement; conduct performance evaluations and support competency development.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, government agencies, and internal teams; attend meetings, reviews, and site inspections.
• Maintain strong relationships with key partners and supply chain stakeholders.
• Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting.
• Support estimation and tendering teams with operational input.
• Manage contract performance, including claims, variations, and commercial risk.
• Enforce HSE policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards; ensure closure of non-conformance issues.
• Promote a zero-incident safety culture across all sites.
• Analyse operational data to implement performance improvements.
• Optimize supply chain, logistics, equipment utilization, and labour productivity.
• Drive implementation of digital tools such as ERP systems, project management platforms, and BIM.

Operations/Senior Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8–15+ years (Ops Manager) or 15–20+ years (Ops Director) in construction operations.
• Experience managing multiple large-scale commercial, civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong record in project delivery, cost control, and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and contract management.
• Proficient with MS Project, Primavera P6, and ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong strategic thinking and organizational planning skills.
• Excellent team leadership, motivation, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• High integrity, accountability, and results focus.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
