P6 Planner - Cork

Planner / Scheduler       Cork       €40-50k

Our client, a Main Contractor based in Cork has an immediate requirement to recruit a Planner to be accountable for developing and maintaining detailed and integrated project programmes.

You will be using your knowledge of P6 & MS Project to deliver all aspects of planning, phasing, programming and sequencing for the tendering activity, including the coordination of design, commercial and production activities.

The role will be based out of the Cork office with site visits nationwide and occasionally further afield around Europe.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively deliver project planning from launch to successful completion
• Develop design and build programmes using P6 & MS Project
• Ensure programmes comply with planning standards and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain excellent communication relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide regular feedback and reports on the status of the projects including early warnings and change management programme updates

Requirements

• P6 & MS Project experience
• Minimum 3 years performing in a similar role
• Experience delivering MV/HV Projects highly desirable  
• Excellent understanding and appreciation for construction activities, timescales, and project requirements
• Ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently
• A pro-active and solution focussed approach
• Excellent IT skills
