Part time opportunity for Bookkeeper with a Specialist Subcontractor


Book Keeper -Part Time – Derry/Londonderry

The Company

Steadily growing and expanding their portfolio of projects this specialist subcontractor requires a Book Keeper to join their small office team and be responsible for the key finance day to day activities of the company.

Working mainly across ROI, and also in the UK, you will report and work closely with the Financial Director.

The role is part time permanent; pattern and hours of work can be negotiated.

The Role

  • To provide a first point of contact for incoming telephone calls and emails from sub-contractors, dealing with queries
  • Creating remittances for Sub-contractors’ payments based on the business valuations
  • Entering sub-contractor invoices onto the accounting system
  • Entering payments onto the system from the bank reconciliation
  • Entering employee expenses
  • Assisting with purchase ledger duties
  • Ad-hoc admin duties in support of the business generally where required
  • Arrange deliveries to site


  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience within Construction Industry
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative
  • Good communication, organisation & numerical skills
  • Flexible attitude with good time management skills
