Parts and Service Controller Dublin €28-35K
An opportunity to join a leading company as a Parts and Service Controller has arisen. The role is based in Dublin and the successful candidate will have the responsibility for managing high volumes of stock purchasing and help develop state of the art stock management principles & processes to achieve a streamlined process within the business.
The person should ideally have experience in stock control or within a warehouse setting, and have the ability to work well within a fast-paced environment.
What does the Job Involve?
- You will contribute to a safe compliant and reliable team by ensuring that stock held within the warehouse is organised and logged correctly.
- Ensuring that all stock records are accurate and stock loses and errors are minimised.
- Prepare deliveries and collections of stock.
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking or in contrast running out of stock.
- Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile and high value items.
- Development of stock management principles and processes.
- Track shipments and any delays.
- Tagging and labelling all stock so can be found easier.
- Making sure the warehouse is organised and safe.
- Be involved in the stocktaking process.
Experience and Skills Required for the Role:
- Previous experience in stock and inventory control.
- Experience in a warehouse setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving tools.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well as a team.
- Self-driven and proactive.
- Good IT skills.
