Construction Planner – Armagh

The Company

Civils contractor in Armagh have an opportunity for a construction planner to join the team. You will work full time in the office with site travel. You will take responsibility for the programmes for several projects depending on their size. This role is perfect for someone who can prioritise their won workload and have a passion for autonomy in their job. Reporting into the Contracts manager you will develop relationships with site staff.

The Role

  • Preparing and driving project plans/schedules of works/ programs and reporting on / challenging contractor programs
  • Ensuring all project stakeholders adhere to agreed programmes
  • Addressing regular internal queries & collaboration with legal, commercial & other departments
  • Regular reporting on project progress to management team on a project and portfolio analysis basis
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Site visits

What you need

  • 3+ years’ experience in projects development from initial stages to completion of projects.
  • Ability to manage several projects at once.
  • Excellent communication skills / interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail in reviewing plans, costs and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
