Plant / Transport Administrator – Armagh

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Plant / Transport Administrator, for work based in Armagh. The client is a construction company that has an extensive inventory of plant and machinery and has been operating in the industry for a number of years. The client is seeking a candidate that preferable has a background in transport and logistics or plant and machinery.

 

The candidate should have an interest in administration and health and safety.

 

 

Plant / Transport Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily checks on all plant and machinery
  • Carry out inspections to ensure that all plant and machinery is insured and safe to leave the yard
  • Check insurance certificates and keep plant and machinery in date and up date any plant and machinery that is expired
  • Discover methods to reduce costs for the plant and machinery
  • Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety practice on the yard
  • Plan and Schedule plant and machinery to leave and enter the yard safely
  • Be present and participate in company meetings and provide reports
  • Ensure incidents are avoided within the yard, if incidents occur be present to resolve the situation and plan to avoid a similar situation

 

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Preferred Administration Background
  • Preferred experience in Health and Safety
  • Preferred NEBOSH Certificate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within in a team
  • Strong IT skills on Microsoft Word and Excel
