Plant Compliance Health & Safety Officer – Armagh
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Plant Compliance Health & Safety Officer, for work based in Armagh. The client has been in the construction industry for over 25 years and has an ever-expanding array of plant and machinery. The client requires a candidate with a keen interest in health and safety, with a background in administration.
The client would consider a candidate coming from a construction or transport background or with strong administrative experience.
Plant Compliance Health and Safety Officer Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure health and safety is maintained at the company’s office
- Ensure each piece of plant and machinery is inspected regularly
- Manage plant and machinery coming in and out of the company’s yard
- Check that insurance for plant and machinery is up to date and validate any that has expired
- Ensure insurance records are maintained and all plant and machinery is regularly serviced
- Carry out cost surveys and discover ways in which costs can be reduced
- Attend company meetings and provide operational reports
- Record any incidents and plan future action to ensure reoccurrence is avoided
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Administration Background
- Keen interest in Health & Safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently and within in a team
- Strong IT skills on Microsoft Word and Excel
