A leading employer based in Galway is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to come on board and join their company. This role is great for a positive, forward-thinking individual looking to take a step forward in a diverse and leading organisation.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Design and maintain the production assembly processes to ensure optimal flow, process quality control and production efficiency.
  • Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and environmental and quality assurance procedures are followed.
  • Work with cross function and operational teams to ensure objectives and activity plans are met.
  • Carry out risk assessments where required.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through analysis of production line.
  • Monitor key process parameters, identify actions and define instructions to deal with nay deviations.
  • Ensure all process procedures and methodologies are adhered to.
  • Execute product and process validation and verification.
  • Identify any process problems and non-conformances in manufacturing processes and develop corrective actions.
  • Assist with new product development, including specification and procurement of the new equipment.
  • Involved in all aspects of daily manufacturing.

Experience and Knowledge for the Role:

The successful applicant should have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, within this role have optimised product and processes within the Manufacturing Industry. The individual should also hold a Degree/HND/HNC level qualification in a relevant subject to the job role.
