Process Technician - Limerick

Process Technician          County Limerick               €35-40k

A leading employer based in County Limerick is currently recruiting for a multiskilled Process Engineer who provide technical expertise to fault find, maintain and continually improve automated injection moulding equipment, ancillary equipment and the general assembly processes.

To be successful you will need engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, with particular skills in fault finding and problem solving on technical equipment. You will also need to be able to demonstrate a track record of technical competence, working proactively, and managing your own time effectively.

Ideally you will have completed a recognised higher education qualification, such as a HNC or HND, in a related subject. Core hours are Monday to Friday with a staggered shift pattern starting from 7am, with the opportunity for regular overtime.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Manage the injection moulding processes to ensure optimal flow, process quality control and production efficiency
  • Work with cross function and operational teams to ensure objectives and activity plans are met
  • Follow procedures and create accurate documents and records of your work.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through analysis of production line
  • Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and cGMP procedures are followed
  • Execute product and process validation and verification
  • Identify any process problems and non-conformances in manufacturing processes and develop corrective actions
  • Carry out risk assessments where required
  • Involved in all aspects of daily manufacturing

Experience and Knowledge required

  • The individual should also hold a Degree/HND/HNC level qualification in a relevant field to the job role.
  • 5+ years injection moulding experience
  • Experience in automation in a cGMP environment
  • Understanding of manufacturing techniques & processes
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge
  • Have a positive attitude towards work and a keen interest for driving improvements.
  • Self-motivated and talented individual.
