Product Engineer - Cork

Product Engineer                Fermoy Co. Cork                  €40-50K 

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Product Engineer for our client based in Fermoy, Co. Cork to join their ever-expanding team. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual wishing to progress in their career.

This role will suit someone who has an understanding of New Products to Manufacturing and the ability to provide engineering support for all activities in the product development processes.

Roles Include:

• You will lead the introduction of new products to manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with the Senior Managers and provide feedback and root analysis of any problems that you may encounter.
• Identify all lead projects and to help improve processes and procedures.
• To ensure all NPI (New Product Information) corelate with all stakeholders and ensure good quality products.
• Ensure compliance to all work procedures and instructions.
• Maintain inventory levels are stocked and that all required equipment needed for tools and testing are there.
• Work closely with Engineering and Operations to ensure that all handoffs of the product are correct and that all relevant documentation is filled out.

Skills & Requirements:

• Level 8 Degree related in Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience as an engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting and equipment experience.
• Ability to learn and develop on the job.
• Hard working and excellent attitude.
• 3D Printing/Solidworks/Tool Design desirable.
• Plastic Moulding knowledge. 
• Excellent communication skills.
• Some travel may be required for this role.
