Product Engineer                         Dungannon                     £30-40K

A successful Manufacturing company based in Dungannon in County Tyrone are currently on the lookout for a Product Engineer who has a good knowledge and experience within the manufacturing industry.

This is a great opportunity to join the companies growing engineering team and further develop your knowledge and skills within the product and training improvement process and provide product research and development on a daily basis.

If you have experience in the Manufacturing industry as a Product Engineer and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills then this is the role for you!

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with mechanical and electrical design engineers to develop experimental concepts into certified products.
  • Devise and maintain high level development schedules, as well as detailed work packages for R&D activities
  • Have a thorough understanding of the product and ensure low-level design decisions are made in line with wider project goals in mind
  • Carry out research on new technologies and processes to help with the implementation of improving the existing products and for new products.
  • To help with the continuous improvement of BOM and along with any maintenance that is required.
  • Assist with specific market research surrounding NPPD Projects.
  • Communicating effectively and ensuring that all internal stakeholders are kept informed of all projects that are in progress.
  • Following all rules & regulations within the company and implementing high standards of Health & Safety throughout.
  • Participation in the department’s innovation initiative - the invention of new concepts, ideas and breakthrough technologies to support future business and generate new solutions.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience or Degree Equivalent within Engineering Discipline.
  • Knowledge of material processing equipment.
  • Experience of various applications and equipment.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Understanding of Bill of Materials and Design for Manufacturing.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication skills.
  • MS Office efficient.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as a team.
