A leading company based in County Mayo is looking for a Product Manager to join their expanding business. They are looking for a self-motivated individual with good communication skills to jump on board and work in a team environment in order to aid the business in achieving their ambitious goals.

Job Description:

The Product Manager will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritising product and partner requirements, contributing to the definition of the product vision, and working closely with suppliers, pre-sales, sales, marketing and operations to ensure revenue and partner satisfaction goals are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the buying department, supply chain and engineers to ensure the product lifecycle is aligned with trade strategy and commercial opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with external partners and suppliers, with an aim to implement best practices for sharing product data that is detailed and accurate.
  • Identify new metrics and KPI’s to influence team competencies as well as brand and supplier performance.
  • Deliver improvements to existing products.
  • Establish a role as product expert, build relationships across the business and become the go-to point of contact within the product group.
  • Know everything about current products of the company, in order to improve in any areas possible.
  • Driver operational efficiencies.

Experience and Knowledge.

The successful individual should hold a degree level/ HND/HNC qualification in a relevant field with a good level of experience working for at least 3-5 years in a similar role. Experience within the Agricultural Sector would be highly desirable.
