Job Title – Production & Packaging Supervisor

Job Location – West Co. Cork 

Salary – €38K - €42K

 

Role Overview:

Our client here at Inform3 are currently recruiting for Production & Packaging Supervisor to join their highly experienced team in West County Cork.

You will ensure all products are packed safely and efficiently and maintain a sanitary environment which meets all food safety regulations. You will also train, set responsibilities, and standards, supervise, and evaluate packers and warehouse workers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of a production team, ensuring efficient and timely manufacturing of food products while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Implement the agreed production schedule & work closely with other supervisors and managers to ensure maximum output from all resources while minimizing waste.
  • Scheduling staff and their hours and implementing strategies to improve production processes and drive efficiencies.
  • Meeting agreed production schedule & targets, communicating expectations to all team members, training employees, and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Oversee inventory levels and order packaging materials as needed.
  • Organize and schedule packaging shifts and monitor employee attendance.
  • Resolve packaging issues and communicate any problems or delays to management.

 

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Supervisory or similar role.
  • Knowledge of packaging equipment and materials.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
