INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Production Development Engineer for a leading Pharmaceuticals Company based in Co. Galway who are looking for an enthusiastic, strong-minded individual to join their ever-expanding business.

They require an experienced Production Development Engineer to be support the range of engineering projects and interact with both the clients and suppliers on a regular basis.

Duties Include:

• Evaluation of competitor information, materials and product uses.
• Have a thorough understanding of the product and ensure low-level design decisions are made in line with wider project goals in mind.
• To help with the continuous improvement of BOM and along with any maintenance that is required.
• Generation of component, packaging and assembly drawings in CAD/SolidWorks.
• To help lead with the processes of design and to assist with the development of all ranges of products such as the applications and legislations.
• Carry out research on new technologies and processes to help with the implementation of improving the existing products and for new products.
• Report all issues and documentation to the Technical Service Manager and generate all general and specific information that may be relevant.
• Assist with the day-to-day functions of the Technical Department when necessary.
• Follow the company Health & Safety Rules and Regulations and ensure to do so in a safe and clean environment.
• Provide line support to the operations teams.
• Meet with customers and providing updates on all projects.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree or equivalent in Science/Engineering/Biomedical Engineer.
• Experienced in Solidworks CAD package is essential.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work on numerous projects at once.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
• Ability to learn and respond to ever-changing environments.
