A successful Manufacturing company based in County Tyrone are currently on the lookout for a Production Engineer who has a good knowledge and experience within the manufacturing industry.

This is a great opportunity to join the companies growing engineering team and further develop your knowledge and skills within manufacturing environment by supporting the production processes throughout the company.

If you have experience in the Manufacturing industry as a Production Engineer and are involved in leading processes to production, then this is the role for you.

Roles Include:

  • Involved in the planning and coordinating production processes daily to produce high quality products.
  • Evaluating current production activities and suggesting improvements to design engineer and management team.
  • Investigating problems, analysing root causes, and implementing solutions.
  • Ensuring the MRP system reflects the materials going through the production lines.
  • Identifying unsafe operations and practices and reporting to management team.
  • Providing engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production output.
  • Developing best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability such as installing new jigs and fixtures.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience or degree equivalent within Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all department managers.
  • MS Office efficient.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as a team.
  • Strong Organisation and project management skills.
