INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Production Manager for a successful Construction company that specialise in design, manufacturing and installation of modular structures.

You will be responsible for all the planning, co-ordinating and scheduling all the steps in the production processes.

The right candidate will have experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing/construction engineering environment and will report directly to the MD.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

• Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demand.
• Assessing project and resource requirements.
• Ensuring that all factory production equipment is in good working order and monitored on a daily basis.
• Training and coaching all Factory Operators to enhance and increase the performance and productivity within the company.
• Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
• Overseeing production processes.
• Monitor KPIs, health and safety regulations, team budgets and more.
• Working with the general manager, transport manager and purchasing manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.
• Collaborating with other departments to deliver successful New Product Introductions and New Process/Equipment installation and commissioning.
• Manpower Planning – recruit, train and deploy resources to ensure optimum resources and skills are available to meet demand and holidays etc.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 3+ years’ experience in similar production role.
• Managerial/supervisory /team leader experience.
• Production planning & scheduling and working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of Construction and/or techniques, Design techniques & BIM modelling.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in line with company requirements.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
• Working knowledge of MRP Systems.
• Working knowledge of production planning in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability in approach and sourcing.
