Production Manager                                                                                                                                                            Co. We are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join our client who our a successful fit-out company based in Co. Armagh.

You will be responsible for all the manufacturing-related activities of certain areas within the company and looking after planning, co-ordinating and controlling all the steps in the production processes.

The right candidate will have experience within a similar role ideally within a manufacturing / engineering environment.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

  • Proactively manage and lead all manufacturing engineering and meet daily/weekly production plan demand.
  • Assessing project and resource requirements, providing superior technical knowledge.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice production engineering
  • Training and coaching all Factory Operators to enhance and increase the performance and productivity within the company.
  • Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
  • Overseeing production processes.
  • Implement and manage continuous improvement principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes
  • Monitor KPIs, health and safety regulations, team budgets and more
  • Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Working with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the business and implementing continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Managerial/supervisory /team leader experience at least 3+ years.
  • Experience within construction or joinery would be an advantage.
  • A lean manufacturing background or a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in line with company requirements.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.  
  • Working knowledge of production planning in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in approach and sourcing.
