We are currently recruiting for a Planning Engineer for our client based in County Cork to join their expanding team. They are looking for a strong individual that has knowledge of electronic, mechanical and mechatronic assembly process.

The role offers the chance to be part of a close-knit team, while developing your own knowledge and skills. The individual should be highly motivated with a willingness to succeed within the company as they expect pace, cooperation and accountability.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

  • Project Management of new products
  • Drive and lead NPI team
  • Ensure on time delivery of all projects as well as ensuring they are in budget
  • Identification and specification of new equipment within the manufacturing process
  • Design and procurement of product packaging solutions
  • Process support to production
  • Project management of rationalisation of automation projects.
  • Control of the Product technical change process
  • Health and Safety responsibilities

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in Production, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electronic Engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment in a role such as process, manufacturing or NPI Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Mechatronic / Electronic / Mechanical assembly process.
  • Knowledge of JIG and Injection moulding.
  • Knowledge of production capacity and live balance.
  • Organised and highly motived to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead a time as well as working as part of one.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
