Are you an experience Production Supervisor? A successful manufacturing company based in County Cavan are currently looking for a strong individual who will play a pivotal role in the daily supervision and efficient running of the Department to deliver high quality consumer product and achieve agreed KPIs/standards in Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Delivery and Cost.

You will be reporting to the Production Manager and assist in the creating the daily production plan in-line with Milk the company requirements and plan, prioritise and delegate work to the best interest of the business.

This role is a night role where you will be required to work 4 days on & 4 days off rota.

Duties Include:

  • Production Supervisor for planning and overseeing effective execution of all Production operations on shift.
  • Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demand.
  • Assessing project and resource requirements.
  • Ensure there is a comprehensive program of continuous improvement in place to improve quality, performance, efficiency and reduce costs through structured problem- solving activities in line with the companies Quality Policies and systems.
  • Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
  • Overseeing production processes.
  • Monitor KPIs, health and safety regulations, team budgets and more
  • Working with the general manager, transport manager and purchasing manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.
  • Ensure compliance of the site Known Consignor accreditation
  • Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods Transportation requirements
  • Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level at all times.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree or equivalent within Food Management/Quality or Production Management field.
  • An Engineering qualification in Electronic Engineering or related discipline is an advantage.
  • Managerial/supervisory /team leader experience.
  • A lean manufacturing background or a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in line with company requirements.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
  • Working knowledge of production planning in a fast-paced environment.
