Salary – €40K - €45K + Shift Allowance for weekend work

 

Role Overview:

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking for a hands-on role within a Food Manufacturing environment? Then this is the role for you!

Our client is currently recruiting for Production Supervisor to join their highly experienced team where you will ensure all products are packed safely and efficiently and maintain a sanitary environment which meets all food safety regulations.

You will also supervise production teams on shift to deliver daily and weekly KPIs as this role will consist of weekend work on high season and during the week on low season.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production teams on shift to deliver daily and weekly KPIs.
  • Maintain full compliance with Quality Assurance, food safety, hygiene, SOPs and Health & Safety standards, ensuring auditready at all times.
  • Drive a rightfirsttime culture by monitoring line performance, conducting daily audits, addressing nonconformances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Effectively plan resources, changeovers and production schedules in collaboration with Planning, Warehouse, setUp and Packing teams to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
  • Lead, motivate and develop team members through coaching, performance management, job rotation and training, supporting progression and building multiskilled teams.
  • Ensure clear communication through effective shift handovers, daily review meetings and accurate completion of all production documentation and reports.
  • Proactively identify and deliver continuous improvement and lean initiatives, challenging existing processes to improve efficiency, quality and team behaviours.
  • Act as a visible, handson leader on the floor, maintaining high housekeeping standards and ensuring safe working practices are followed by all employees.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in supervisory or leadership experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG production environment.
  • Strong operational knowledge of production processes, KPI delivery, labour planning, changeovers and resource optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams at all levels.
  • Experience working within Quality Assurance and food safety systems.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problemsolving skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask and make practical decisions under pressure.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to accurately record, review and report operational data and production performance.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to support different shifts or areas of the factory as business needs require
