Project Design Engineer                      Cookstown                         £30-33K

The role of Project Engineer is responsible for delivering projects from design through to Manufacturing.

The successful applicant will be working closely with a Project Design Manager, where you will be applying your technical knowledge and skills to ensure all projects meet client cost, time and quality requirements.

Our client provides specialist services to some of the largest companies nationwide, offering a number of different avenues for an engineer to go down to progress and expand their skillset.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will report to the Project Design Manager on a daily basis.
• To understand the structure and data of BOM, component parts and production routings.
• Ensuring a high standard of Health & Safety and ensure they applied at all times.
• To help with the continuous improvement of BOM and along with any maintenance that is required.
• Create and produce accurate BOM’s, layout and fabrication drawings for all projects and to manage and liaise with all customers and suppliers.
• To ensure that all projects are completed on time and to adhere to the quality and cost of the project design right through to the building.
• Ensure that all designs are within manufacturing capabilities.

Experienced Required:

• 3+ years’ experience within a Design Engineering Environment.
• Understanding of BOM creation Design for Manufacturing.
• Mechanical Engineering degree desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of 3D CAD.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
• Ability to work within a team an as an individual.
