Project Director                                Derry/Londonderry        £60-75K

I am recruiting for a Project Director to work for an established contractor who has a proven track record managing the overall delivery of multiple large construction projects.

As a client facing Project Director, you will be responsible for project leading whilst utilising your wealth of construction experience to ensure projects meet time and budget constraints, and to the required specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall delivery of all current and future projects.
• Ensuring projects have the necessary and correct resources
• Efficiently and effectively managing health, safety, environmental and quality and ensuring legal compliance and maintenance of company standard
• Liaising and reporting back to stakeholders on project programme and progress and any matters affecting either.
• Confident decision maker offering support and guidance to your Project/Contracts Managers.

Key experience:

• Proven experience in the successful management of major projects of work in the construction sector from inception to completion
• Educated to degree level.
• Strong commercial focus and financially astute.
• Previous experience working with a contractor with a good understanding of both self-delivery and sub contract management
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, quality and environment legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication with proven delivery of leadership and behavioural change within a large organisation.
• Good personnel and stakeholder management
