Project Engineer County Down
Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team to work on a wide variety of projects predominantly within the Water Sector across Northern Ireland.
Working as part of a multi-disciplined team the successful candidate will deliver projects from initial to concept planning and detailed design through to commissioning. You must be able to plan, organise and prioritise their own work within a team, this is a wide-ranging role and a willingness to question and learn will be essential.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Mechanical Design across the full design lifecycle
- Ensure that all work is completed to the relevant professional and statutory standards.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure your designs co-ordinate with standards and meet the technical requirements.
- To maintain relationships with production and external stakeholders to ensure delivery to agreed schedules
- To work in a multi-disciplinary team on a variety of projects for a range of industries
- To be self-motivated and organised in terms of completing work on time and to a quality standard
Requirements
- Degree certified in a Mechanical Engineering subject
- 3+ years experience designing mechanical systems
- Experience designing solutions within the Water Sector highly desirable
- AutoCAD/Revit experience
- Proven ability managing projects
- Have good attention to detail
- Ambitious and able to work to your own initiative
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage at all levels and be a solid team player
- Keen learner and goal orientated, with the desire to work proactively
- Flexibility to travel to sites
