An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Manufacturing Company located in County Meath. The opportunity is for a Project Engineer to come on board and play a vital role in the delivery of projects through concept & detailed design, manufacture to testing.

The individual will have extensive understanding of the Health, Safety and Welfare at work. The company are interested in candidates who are forward thinking with the ability to think outside the box.

Job Description:

The Project Engineer will be required to assist in the daily aspects of the project delivery. The individual will act as the main point of technical and project management integration and must have an understanding of the overall route to customer delivery, overall being responsible for contributing to the technical work required at all stages.

Duties Involve:

  • To work together as part of a team in project delivery and provide an input at team meetings.
  • Ensure projects are fit for purpose and adhere to the project budget and schedule.
  • Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems ensuring solutions are provided and implemented.
  • Identify risks, mitigations and contingency plans to ensure the effective running projects.
  • Evaluate, organise and prioritise work within the overall project schedule.
  • Ensure all relevant safety objectives and requirements are observed and taking into consideration.
  • Review, prepare and submit detailed Risk Assessments prior to all work activities that are commencing.
  • Conduct and carry out all daily inspections of equipment and ensure all relevant documentation is filled out.
  • Engage and communicate with all suppliers and sub-contractors to select the correct vendors for project delivery.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience working within a similar role ideally in the Waterwaste industry.
  • Relevant Engineering Qualification (Level 7).
  • Knowledge and experience within Design and process proving of MEICA systems.
  • Understanding of MS Packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to provide own initiative and work within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
