Project Engineer - Roscommon

Project Engineer                Co. Roscommon                €40-60K DOE

A leading Medical Device company based in County Roscommon are currently on the lookout for an experienced Project Engineer to join their ever-expanding team.

You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for providing manufacturing support and implementing process improvement initiatives and help lead projects across a range of product lines.

Duties Include:

• Provide manufacturing support over a range of manufacturing processes.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce cost and to improve manufacturing efficiency by using data analysis.
• Manage projects and lead new product introduction projects introducing new processes as appropriate.
• Carry out process and product validations.
• Implement product, process and material changes through validation, change control and documentation updates.
• Familiarize yourself with a variety of processes to allow you to work across a number of product lines.
• Conform to the requirements of the quality and environmental management system
• Additional ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Essential Criteria:

• Level 8 or Degree Equivalent in Engineering or similar discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience within Medical Device Manufacturing.
• Knowledge and understanding of Medical Device protocols.
• Experience of AutoCAD and Solidworks Desirable.
• Strong Six Sigma and Lean knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and on your own.
• Ability to hand le workload and multiple projects.
